Buying before the auction

We are pleased to offer benefits of convenience and selection to our collectors:

Pre-registered bids: If you cannot be present during the auction, you can pre-bid at one or more pricing tiers in advance using your credit card. You can only pre-bid with credit card, not Eth. During the auction, pre-registered bids will execute when the auction reaches the price tier that matches the pre-bid amount, before live bids are executed. Please note that this means that pre-registered bids will have an advantage over other bids at each price tier.

To place a pre-bid, navigate to the Collection page. Click on the yellow "Submit A Pre-Bid" button and follow the checkout process using your credit card. Upon completion of the checkout process, your credit card will be pre-authorized to be charged when the live auction reaches your pre-bid levels.

Your credit card will only charged if your pre-registered bid is accepted during the actual auction. Your bid will be executed at the Eth price tier at which you pre-register your bid. You will be charged the amount pre-authorized by your credit card at the time your pre-registered bid is submitted. In the event of extreme volatility (i.e., if the exchange rate between Eth and US Dollars changes +/-20%) between pre-registration of the bid and the live auction, we will reach out to you to adjust your bid. 

Please note that there is no guarantee that the auction won’t have sold out before it reaches the level where your pre-registered bid has been placed. Your best bet is still to attend the auction! Pre-registered bids are cancelable up to 24 hours before the start of the auction. For cancellations, please email concierge@tonic.xyz.

Fixed price pre-sale: If you prefer to select the exact work in a collection instead of a random assignment (which is how the regular auction works). These works are randomly selected from the full collection. These works are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please email concierge@tonic.xyz to request access to this pre-sale. We will email all interested parties a PDF after your outreach and will honor purchase requests on a first-come, first-served basis after that point.
